Here at Strew we’re always working at making our home ed app better and better. Sometimes that means we add a new feature, sometimes it means we remove something.

🐛 5 Bugs Fixed
This month we’ve focused on clearing out the bug list. We fixed several multi-child family bugs, where the UI wasn’t keeping up with the family activities!
This is part of an overall push to tighten the app as-it-is; I hope this’ll free me up to work on a few key new features which are coming soon 🙂
🔧 Other Improvements
Printing. PDFs. This is crucial stuff for Strew; because it’s amazing to log the stuff, but even more Strew is about enabling of reflection, and report support.
To this end I’ve added several performance improvements which should help all users generate home ed PDFs much faster and with less phone memory used.

- Improved: Further refinements to pdf report printing engine - now works even better on low-memory phones
- Improved: Settings and Subscription views now report active code status
- Fix: Some multi-child families could not de-select a child when adding an activity
- Fix: Edited activities now properly produce AI insights when prompted to
- Fix: Bug where multi-child families could accidentally deselect all children on print pdf screen
- Fix: Bug where deleted child records were causing bugs in pdf printing
- Fix: Bug where some users were getting stuck on the 'How did you hear about strew?' screen
