Terms and Conditions for the Strew Refer-a-Friend Program

These Terms and Conditions govern participation in the Strew Refer-a-Friend Program (“Program”). By participating in the Program you agree to these Terms. Participation in the Program is voluntary and subject to Strew’s approval and oversight.

1. Eligibility. The Program is open only to active paid Strew subscribers aged 18 or over who are resident in the United Kingdom, United States, or Australia. Participants must have an active account in good standing at the time of referral, verification, and reward fulfilment. Strew may change eligible territories or eligibility requirements at any time.
2. How referrals qualify. A referral qualifies only when a new user signs up using the referrer’s valid referral code, completes any applicable trial period, and successfully renews onto a paid subscription. Referrals must represent genuine, unique individuals. Existing users, duplicate accounts, self-referrals, or accounts created primarily to obtain referral rewards will not qualify.
3. Verification. All referrals are subject to verification by Strew. A referral will only be considered successful once the referred user’s trial period has ended and their subscription has renewed successfully. Strew reserves the right to review, investigate, delay, refuse, or cancel any referral or reward where misuse, fraud, technical issues, or policy violations are suspected.
4. Rewards. Subject to verification and approval, eligible participants may receive a reward currently valued at £5 in the form of an Amazon gift card or similar digital voucher (or local equivalent value where applicable). Strew may provide an alternative digital gift card, voucher, or equivalent reward at its discretion. Rewards are non-transferable, not redeemable for cash, and may be modified or discontinued by Strew. Amazon is not a sponsor of, or affiliated with, the Strew Refer-a-Friend Program.
5. Reward delivery. Rewards will normally be issued within a reasonable period after a referral has been verified. Delivery times may vary and are not guaranteed. Strew is not responsible for delays caused by third-party voucher providers or delivery services.
6. Tax responsibility. Participants are solely responsible for determining and complying with any tax obligations that may arise from receiving referral rewards. Strew does not provide tax advice and accepts no responsibility for any tax liabilities, reporting requirements, penalties, or other consequences arising from participation in the Program or receipt of rewards.
7. Appropriate sharing. Referral codes should be shared with personal contacts or audiences where such sharing is appropriate. Posting referral codes on coupon websites, discount aggregation sites, or similar mass-promotion platforms may result in disqualification or cancellation of rewards.
8. Prohibited conduct. Participants must not attempt to manipulate or abuse the Program. Prohibited actions include, but are not limited to:
   • creating fake, duplicate, or self-referred accounts;
   • using alternative identities, emails, or payment methods to obtain rewards;
   • automated or bulk distribution of referral codes;
   • misrepresenting Strew or the Program;
   • spamming or sending unsolicited communications;
   • any activity intended to artificially generate rewards.
9. Abuse and manipulation. Any attempt to manipulate, artificially generate, or fraudulently obtain referral rewards may result in disqualification, cancellation of rewards, suspension of participation in the Program, and/or termination of Strew accounts.
10. Account standing. Both the referrer and the referred user must remain compliant with Strew’s terms of service and applicable laws. Rewards may be refused or reversed if an account is suspended, refunded, charged back, cancelled, or found to be in breach of Strew policies.
11. No partnership or employment. Participation in the Program does not create any partnership, employment, agency, or commercial relationship between participants and Strew. Participants act solely as independent users of the service.
12. No responsibility for third-party actions. Strew is not responsible for the actions, communications, representations, or conduct of participants, referred users, third-party platforms, advertisers, publishers, or any other party outside of Strew. Any such actions are the sole responsibility of the individuals or entities carrying them out.
13. No liability for misuse or technical issues. Strew will not be liable for losses, damages, delays, or failed reward delivery resulting from misuse of referral codes, unauthorised sharing, technical failures, tracking errors, or circumstances outside Strew’s reasonable control.
14. Program availability. Strew does not guarantee uninterrupted availability of the Program or referral tracking systems. From time to time the Program may be unavailable due to maintenance, technical issues, service changes, or other circumstances outside Strew’s reasonable control.
15. Program limits. Strew may impose reasonable limits on participation in the Program, including limits based on accounts, households, payment methods, devices, territories, or time periods where necessary to prevent abuse or maintain fairness.
16. Program changes or termination. Strew reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify, suspend, restrict, or terminate the Program or a participant’s access to it where it reasonably believes the Program is being misused, where fraud is suspected, where technical or operational issues arise, or where required for legal or commercial reasons.
17. Final decision. All decisions regarding eligibility, referrals, verification, reward approval, and interpretation of these Terms will be made by Strew at its reasonable discretion and will be final.

By participating in the Program, you acknowledge that rewards are discretionary, that tax and financial consequences are your own responsibility, and that Strew may modify or withdraw the Program in accordance with these Terms.
