Here at Strew, we’re always working to make the app better for home educating families: sometimes that means adding new features, and sometimes it means simplifying what’s already there.
I’m sharing regular updates throughout 2026, and this post covers what’s new in March and April.

🐛 5 Bugs Fixed
Some really meaningful fixes in this update, reducing the last few blockers which were stopping users really getting stuff done in Strew.
Study points now work more seamlessly, filtering your feed now works well regardless of how many kids are in the household, and several other bugs were squashed!
🔧 Other Improvements
Latest AI! For those opting to use the Strew AI Assistant, the analysis it provides is now arguably 3x more accurate, and twice as fast! We’ve found this makes Strew even more usable.
Home ed reports have had a light overhaul – those of you with hundreds of pages of activities to print (fair play!) should now get a smoother experience when generating reports, with a few extra options added (like 1 activity per page).
What’s Coming Next?
Thing’s we’re thinking about on the horizon:
- (Optional) Cloud Sync for multi-device
- Recurring activities
- Refer-a-friend scheme
- Learning Suggestions / Reflections on recent focuses
- Bookshelf
